25+ St. Lucia Beaches to Visit in 2024

Information on some of the St. Lucia beaches listed below – the most popular and/or those that present unique and interesting scenery – is found on other pages within this Sightseeing, Excursions & Activities section. On this page, we are providing a more complete list with location and a brief description for those who are beach fanatics!

It must be noted that a number of smaller, less accessible beaches are not included but can be visited, many most easily by boat.

Also, not included are some lovely beaches found nestled within the grounds of resorts (many of which are all-inclusive) that are not popular with guests staying elsewhere. Please keep in mind, however, all of Saint Lucia’s beaches are open to the public so access is provided.

Beaches on the Northwest Coast of St. Lucia

Reduit Beach

The island’s most popular tourist beach located in the heart of Rodney Bay; features jet skis, parasailing, water skiing and other water sports.

Pigeon Point Beach

An extension of Reduit Beach separated by the channel access to the marina and inner harbour; accessible through Gros Islet Village or the road to Pigeon Island; location of Landings and Sandals Grande resorts with the south end usually deserted.

Pigeon Island Beach

Small beach within the Pigeon Island National Landmark; must pay modest park entry fee to access it.

Labrelotte Bay Beach

Extends from Windjammer Landing to East Winds resort; most easily accessed from the road to East Winds.

Choc Beach

Includes Sandals Halcyon and Villa Beach Cottages; northern half is uncrowded and easily accessed from the Gros Islet Highway by the Wharf Restaurant & Bar; some water sports available.

Vigie Beach

Long and beautiful beach extending from the G.F.L. Charles Airport to beyond the Rendezvous Resort; section by the G.F.L. Charles airport is usually deserted.

Beaches on the Northeast Coast of St. Lucia

Cas en Bas Beach

Located on the Atlantic coast close to Rodney Bay area; persistent cooling sea breezes makes it a good spot for kite/wind surfing; location of Cotton Bay Resort.

Secret Beach

Small secluded beach that is a short walk from Cas en Bas beach.

Donkey Beach

A bit longer walk from Cas En Bas past Secret beach; secluded and scenic.

Anse Lavoutte Beach

Located on the east coast south of Cas en Bas beach; popular with a few locals on Sundays and holidays but otherwise will be nearly deserted.

Beaches on the West Coast of St. Lucia

Roseau Beach

Located south of Marigot Bay; deserted except for the occasional horseback riding tour; accessible through the banana fields behind St. Lucia Distillers, the rum production facility in Roseau.

Anse Cochon

Located below Ti Kaye Village resort; accessible by boat, from Ti Kaye or via dirt track from the Ti Kaye entrance road; great snorkeling from the beach.

Anse Mamin Beach

Part of the Anse Chastanet Resort located north of the main beach; accessible by boat or walking from the resort; resort restaurant & bar located on beach; excellent snorkeling from the beach.

Anse Chastanet Beach

Main beach of the resort; popular spot for snorkeling from the beach.

Hummingbird Beach

Located at the north end of the Soufriere town waterfront; site of two small resorts; decent snorkeling from the beach but recommended for strong swimmers.

Malgretoute Beach

Located below the north side of Petit Piton; accessible from the Jalousie Road; snorkeling from the beach but recommended only for strong swimmers.

Jalousie Beach

Located between the Pitons; the beach of the Jalousie Plantation Resort; very good snorkeling from the beach.

Anse I’lvrogne

Isolated beach located below Gros Piton; accessed only by boat or from the coast road in the community of Choiseul; modest walk down path or 4-wheel track to get to it.

Beaches on the Southwest Coast of St. Lucia

Sab We Sha

Located about a mile north of Choiseul Village; Sab We Sha is a community park; very quiet except on Sundays or holidays.

Laborie Beach

Extends nearly the entire length of the Laborie Village waterfront; accessible from several spots within the village; only modestly busy with locals on weekends but an empty area can always be found.

Vieux Fort Bay Beach

Long beach that extends from the northern edge of the town of Vieux Fort; deserted except for one small park-like area along the West Coast Road.

Beaches on the Southeast Coast of St. Lucia

Anse de Sables

Scenic long beach on the breezy Atlantic coast just east of Vieux Fort; regionally known for its excellent kite/wind surfing; great views of the Maria Islands and Moule á Chique; always plenty of deserted areas.

Honeymoon Beach

Isolated and deserted beach located on the east coast between Vieux Fort and Micoud; accessible from the East Coast Road by an unmarked dirt track.

Beaches on the East Coast of St. Lucia

Fond d’Or

Located at the Fond d’Or Nature Reserve & Historical Park just north of the town of Dennery; the park and beach can be very enjoyable but rough seas and dangerous currents make swimming unadvisable.

Anse Louvet

Isolated and extremely scenic; accessible only by a 4-wheel track and hiking; rough seas and currents make swimming unadvisable; must be accompanied by a local guide for safety.

Grande Anse

Beautiful mile long isolated beach; accessible on some rough roads through the community of Babonneau; rough seas and currents make swimming unadvisable.
