A year later, at the finals of the Champions League in Lisbon, Platini stayed at Corinthia Hotel where he stayed for 4 nights. The price paid by UEFA was much lower than in London, 7,600 euros (or 1,900 euros per night) for the presidential apartment.
In 2013, at Marriott Grosvenor Square, members of the UEFA Executive Committee were also spoiled with rooms overlooking Hyde Park. For the accommodations of Marios Lefkaritis, Angel Maria Villar Llona, Grigori Surkis and Mircea Sandu, the European Forum paid 1592 euros per night.
